SPECIAL EVENT CHECK-IN

This guide outlines the procedures for checking people into special DC events using Elvanto.

The purpose of recording attendance at a special event is usually to manage seating availability and for reporting purposes. Specific system permissions may be required to perform this function. DC Staff should communicate with the check-in team ahead of the event.
Users with appropriate permissions can log on to their own profiles.

Alternatively, the standard DC login can be used with one of the following:
Email: checkin@disciples.org.au (Web login) or dccheckin (App username)
Password: Checkin1# (both methods)

NAVIGATE TO THE EVENT

Elvanto > Admin Area
Event > Select Event >
Select Invoices & Tickets

RECORD ATTENDANCE

Ensure the 'Invoices & Tickets' tab is selected
Click 'Record Attendance' (upper right-hand menu on a phone/tablet)
Search by name > click 'Check In'
A confirmation message will briefly appear
Names will drop off this list as they're checked in.

troubleshooting

If a name cannot be located then:
The person is already checked in
Check the Guest List - guests with 'Attended' status have been checked in
IMPORTANT: return to the Invoices & Tickets page for further check-ins, or
The ticketholder does not have an Elvanto profile
This can only be resolved with a ticket number, see team leader, or
The name on the ticket was incorrectly recorded
