Helping New Christians
Aug 21, 2011 • Greg Gardiner • New Testament
When you become a Christian you are accepted by God on the basis of what Jesus has done for you in His life, death and resurrection. But it doesn't mean you become a perfect person instantly. Over time, as you identify and repent of sins, and as your knowledge of God's Word grows, you more and more reflect God's love and holiness in your life. Romans 14 encourages mature Christians to help new Christians in this process, to build up their faith not tear them down with criticism.
