Jesus Betrayed

Who is in control of your life? You, or Jesus? We struggle with this concept because we think we know what's best for ourselves. In the Gospel of Jesus According to John, the account of the betrayal and arrest of Jesus is a picture of His being in control of the whole proceedings. This wasn't a random act, but rather, the Son of God voluntarily laying down His life for all who would believe in Him.
