Event Cinemas Orion
Our Sunday gathering is at the Event Cinemas at the Orion Shopping Centre in Springfield Central, right in the heart of our community.
One Service at 9am
We have one service which is held in Cinema 3, which starts at 9am and finishes at around 10:30am.
What About Kids?
DC Kids get their own cinema space which they move to just before the sermon time. They have "Screen Time" at the start of DC Kids in Cinema 4 and then they move into "Table Time" where they get to work on their age specific lessons. We follow all our usual ChildSafe risk management practices.
And Creche?
There is a dedicated space just outside the entrance to the cinema where our service is being held where Creche happens during the sermon time.
Post-Service Fellowship
There are multiple options for post-service fellowship. Coffee & Tea is available for purchase in the cafe/bar, the entry foyer to the cinema is available, and there are children's playgrounds and coffee shops and eateries in the shopping centre that can all be used to continue fellowship after the service.
Setting Up & Pack Down
Our Welcome Teams look after set-up and pack-down each week. The cinema provides us with great storage so there is no gear that we have to cart in and out each Sunday.
