Vision is a clear mental picture of what could be, motivated by the conviction that it should be.
At Disciples Church we recognise the value of a corporate vision, but we also don't want to lose sight of our ambition for every individual member. People are more than numbers to us, and we want to reflect that in our vision statement.
Corporate vision for our church
The vision of Disciples Church is to significantly impact the greater Springfield area with the transforming grace of the Gospel to the glory of Almighty God.
Personal vision for our members
The vision for the members of Disciples Church is that they will:
- know Jesus enough to follow Him
- love God enough to obey him
- love people enough to serve them
- trust the Father enough to risk everything to advance His kingdom
- trust the Holy Spirit enough to let Him change them and use them for His Glory.
