Thank you for being part of this exciting next step for Disciples Church. This page is your quick-access guide to everything you need to know about our move into VMAX - including important dates, volunteer roles, schedules, locations and practical instructions.

Temporary Changes - 30th Aug & 6th Sep

To make the move into VMAX possible, we will need to make a few temporary changes will be made for the services on Sunday 30th August & Sunday 6th September. Here is an overview of some of those changes;

MOVING OUR MAIN SERVICE & DC KIDS: Creche will continue as normal, but our main service will move into Cinema 4, and DC Kids will meet at the Hub.

SHORTER 1HR SERVICE: We will run a shorter 1 hour service with a small band to help make the morning more manageable for our DC Kids team and their program. This service will have 2 songs, a sermon and 2 songs to close. No prayer or bible reading team will be required as the preacher will do this.

VMAX INSTALL: While the shorter service meets in Cinema 4, and DC kids meet at the Hub, another team will be working in VMAX to install and test the lighting, sound and AV equipment needed for our new space.

These are significant changes, but they will only be necessary for 2 to 3 weeks. During this time, we will need plenty of patience, flexibility and grace as we work together.

Please be praying for unity, safety, clear communication and a smooth transition - and that through it all, we would continue to serve one another and keep Jesus at the centre.

6am: Bump in (VMAX) till 11am
8am: Welcome Team redirecting parents to Hub
9am - 10am: Shorter Service (Cinema 4) & DC Kids @ the Hub
11am: Vacate VMAX
11.15am: Debrief
