Starting on Sunday, April 21 our Sunday gathering will be at the Event Cinemas at the Orion Shopping Centre in Springfield Central.

This move will allow us the space to fit everyone in for just one service, which will start at 9am. And the beauty of being in the cinema is that when we grow and need more seats, we simply move to a larger cinema.

We will be renting a second cinema so that DC Kids will get their own cinema space. They will have "Screen Time" at the start of DC Kids and then they will move into "Table Time" where they will get to work on their age specific lessons. We will be following all our usual ChildSafe risk management practices.

There will be a dedicated space just outside the entrance to the cinema where our service is being held where Creche will happen during the sermon time.

We will need to be out of the cinema space by 11am, but there are multiple options for post-service fellowship. Coffee & Tea will be available for purchase in the bar area just outside the cinema we are using for our service, the entry foyer to the cinema will be available, and there are children's playgrounds and coffee shops and eateries in the shopping centre that can all be used to continue fellowship after the service.

Our Service Prep teams will be changing to help us with set-up and pack-down each week. The great news is that we have been able to negotiate storage at the cinema and so there will only be a limited amount of gear that we will have to cart in and out each Sunday.
