Individual Roles and Responsibilities
Creche
Our primary goal is to make every child who enters our creche feel safe, loved, and full of joy while they are being cared for by volunteers who love the Lord and want to share that love with these precious children (“Children are a gift from the Lord.” Psalm 127:3). By simply making a child feel loved, we are participating in the gospel, reflecting Christ’s own love to others. Whether they're regular attendees or first-time visitors, we aim to make them feel at home with, and loved by, the family of God.
Creche Director
Creche Leaders: Is responsible for facilitating the creche area set up, checking in participants on the iPad, making sure the program is running to schedule, caring for the needs of the children, delegating out tasks that need to be done to the team member, for documenting any incident reports or near misses recorded during the session, and for ensuring pack up is completed efficiently at the end of the service.
Creche support Volunteers: Helps the creche leader in setting up (prior to the service starting). They welcome, settle, comfort, and play/engage with the children while the program is running. Assist the creche leader in running the program. Help with pack up after the service.

- Facilitate the all together time during DC kids program
- Coordinate floating support during table discussion time as needed
- Assist Group supervisors as needed
DC Kids Support Volunteers
- Set up and Pack up
- 8:30 prayer time
- Assist with checking in kids/ parent handover
- Supervise parent pick up, manage children waiting to leave until parents are present.
- During all together time be amongst kids, supervising and engaging with children
- AV OPERATOR
- Set up and test laptop and AV system/screen
- Play and stop videos during all in time
- GROUP SUPERVISOR
- Lead their group at table discussion time
- Engage in discussion about the days bible story
- Activities /questions from the curriculum
- Activity pages and or crafts
- FLOATING SUPPORT
- Help where needed/ extra kids during table discussion time(if not obvious at the guidance of the team leader)
- Support group supervisors to engage in curriculum learning
- 3 YEAR OLDS SUPERVISOR
- Supervise and engage 3 year olds in designated area
- Engage in discussion about the days bible story
