Worship Leader
- Understand the vision by communicating with the Preacher about the scripture and focus for sermon.
- Prepare the worship service by choosing songs and scripture that work together to communicate, celebrate and teach these truths from scripture and glorify Christ.

- Lead any worship dialogue in between songs during the worship service.
- Cue and communicate the "DC KIDS" transition
- Prepare Call to Worship out of sermon and into final set. This is usually best done during the sermon as key points of worship are captured. Those key points then need to be linked to the lyrics of the final set.

- Set up the Ableton computer before rehearsal.
- Lead the band during rehearsals and the service, to musically achieve the worship vision.
- Adapt to changes and solve technical problems, such as;
- Sometimes, the band leader will be required to make adjustments to Ableton on the fly. Large scale alterations might not be possible. The band leader should make notes of changes for midweek preparations next time.
- Ableton Malfunctions: Restart, problem solve, etc. If it’s unfixable on the morning, decide the best course of action (run without tracks, maybe play a pad on other software).
Musician
- Worship through and practice the songs on the setlist to be ready for Sunday.
- Arrive on time for "Time in the Word" (7.45am)
- Set up personal instrument.
- If set up early, help the Production Team set up.
