Reading the Bible for yourself is going to be the best way to engage with the text. Here are some key chapters to read/listen to in each book. Although reading the whole book has its benefits, it's not necessary for this series.

OVERVIEW
The Plan of God's Presence was and is to dwell among his people.

• 16 July - W1. DWELLING PRESENCE (Gen - Rev)

GENESIS
The Life-Giving and Relational Presence of God is the source of life and love for all of creation.

• 23 July - W2. LIFE-GIVING PRESENCE (Ge 1-11)
• 30 July - W3. RELATIONAL PRESENCE (Ge 12, 15-17, 21-22, 28, 32)

EXODUS
The Merciful and Manifest Presence of God leads the Israelites out of Egypt and descends upon Mt Sinai.

• 6 Aug - W4. MERCIFUL PRESENCE (Ex 3-4,7-12,13:17-14)
• 13 Aug - W5. MANIFEST PRESENCE (Ex 19-20, 24, 31-34, 40)

LEVITICUS
The Holy and Consuming Presence of God dwells dangerously close to the Israelites by moving into the newly built Tabernacle.

• 27 Aug - W6. HOLY PRESENCE (Lev 1,6,8-10,16,19,20:22-21,23,26)

NUMBERS
The Trustworthy Presence of God teaches the Israelites to trust him as they travel through the desert (again!), but this time with the Tabernacle. 

• 3 Sep - W7. TRUSTWORTHY PRESENCE (Nu 1:47-2,6,9-12,14,16-17,20:1-13,22,24,27)

DEUTERONOMY
The Blessing of the Presence of God and the Curse of the Loss of the Presence of God prepares the Israelites to receive the blessing of the covenant and enter the Promised Land.

• 17 Sep - W8. THE BLESSING OF HIS PRESENCE (Deut 1,4,11-12,23,27-28,30-34
